Dectra is proud to announce the recent certification of our ISO 9001:2000 quality management system by the South African Bureau of Standards.

As a service company who advises and administers grants and finance for our clients, it is vitally important that our company applies the best available practice when it comes to risk management. This is what ISO 9001:2000 does for our company.

In a market that is completely unregulated and where many businesses have been antagonised by the lack of professionalism, if not down right unscrupulous behaviour of some players, our clients may rest assured that their business is handled by a specialist company who applies the best available quality management procedures throughout.

EIP launched

On 3 July 2008 the minister of Trade & Industry launched the Enterprise Investment Programme (EIP), which replaces the previous SMEDP programme.

The effective start date for the EIP is 21 July 2008.

Although there are some similarities between the SMEDP and the EIP, the EIP sets entirely different evaluation criteria that would see many of those who qualified under the SMEDP, disqualified.
